Power Failure
In the event of a power outage please notify Chesterbrook Management Office.
Chesterbrook office buildings and common areas are served by emergency generators and/or emergency battery back-up power. In the event of power failure, these generators and emergency power will allow power for certain basic building functions to continue in order to allow safe evacuation of the building. Those functions include:
- Activating emergency lights on each floor throughout the building, including all Exit signs.
- Activating all stairwell lighting.
- Activating the building’s emergency Fire, Life and Safety Systems
- Recalling all elevators to the ground floor lobby.
If a power outage occurs after hours or on a weekend and extends longer than two hours, Chesterbrook management team will advise your company’s Emergency Contact of the outage.
